PROFILE
Situated in the heart of Tunbridge Wells, this is a pet and aquatic store that is starting to take the fishy side of their business more seriously. They offer the Aquatest programme run from a PC in their store which analyses aquarium and pond water quality providing a printed report. They have also recently started supplying their customers with R/O water. To visit by car you must use one of 2 or 3 town centre multi story car parks. Opening times are 9am to 5.30 six days a week and 11am till 4pm on Sundays.
Steve Ball heads the team of 4 full timers and several part time staff with his mother offering help and advise. Steve’s brother Simon runs their other store in near by Maidstone. This store and Elm Street Pet Centre have been in the family for 12 years with Pets in Store recently moving across the road to larger premises.
Staff in this store are all genuine animal lovers and are passionate about their livestock. Staff training is also a priority for Steve and his staff.
