Echinodorus cordifolius 'Tropica Marble Queen' is a variety cultivated by Oriental Aquarium in Singapore which grows to a height of 15-20cm and a width of 15-25cm. Plants grown in marshy conditions have beautiful marbling which sometimes fades under water. This plant demands a relatively large amount of light and CO2 addition is recommended to promote growth. It is very suitable for low open aquariums where the leaves above the water have clearer marbling. The leaves also resist drying out.
