Echinodorus martii (maior)
Echinodorus martii (maior) grows to a height of 30-45+cm and a width of 15-30cm and is characterised by its long, light-green leaves with a fluted margin, which is very attractive in large aquariums. It is suitable for the hard water found in many European aquariums. A nutritious bottom promotes growth. There is some confusion about the name of this plant and it has been called Echinodorus maior and Echinodorus martii.
