In order to see much of these peaceful little fish, you have to get up in the middle of the night, as this is when they look for food since they stay hidden away most of the day. They can slowly get tame at feeding time though, especially, when they smell their favorite food (sera tablets). These fish are very gregarious and like to live in numbers, with all of them curling up cosy and together. One thing you have to watch out for are escapers. They can easily get out of an aquarium that is not properly covered, which is really a waste of such a friendly little fish.
