Since these fish only like to be kept in groups, you defiantly do not want to buy just one, as it would only stand a small chance of living a long life. They mostly stay together in the upper front portion of the aquarium, holding their classic tail-down stance. They like a shaded aquarium and look good against a backdrop of plants. It is important to keep these fish well fed, as they eat a large amount for their size and do best if you keep their tummies fat.
