FRESHWATER FISH
You will find pictures and information on more than 300 kinds of
freshwater fish on our web pages. Just click on one of the panels below
to see them listed, or try searching for one by typing in the name of the fish
or family of fish you are looking for.
We welcome your suggestions for adding to the list. Simply complete
the 'Suggestion' form on the left.
We would also be interested in hearing about your personal experiences
dealing with individual fish, be it raising them, feeding, breeding,
etc. Just click 'Contact' in the menu bar on the bottom right side of
the screen. For more details on caring for your fish, go to Feeds and
Needs.  | | RED FISH - These fish are very aggressive, even towards other members of their own species. Be extra careful when tank sharing with other fish. | |  | | YELLOW FISH - These fish display some aggression towards other species, both yellow and green. Be careful when considering which fish they will be sharing the tank with. | |  | | GREEN FISH - These fish are ideal for beginners. They generally mix well and make good community fish. | |  | | BLUE FISH - These are fish with special needs and include brackish water fish and Cichlids from the African Lakes of Malawi, Tanganyika and Victoria. |
