THE FISH

P. pulcher
(Tiger Plec)

P. pulcher - Photo
Peckoltia pulcher
HABITS This is one of the most common of the Peckoltia you will see in your local aquarium. It is popular because it shows good markings, eats your algae and stays small, the perfect little fish. Sadly they are a tad shy when you first pop them in your aquarium but with time and the very best foods you will tame this delightful little fish. Although they can be a little territorial towards each other you will find generally they tame much faster if you have say three or more.
SIZE these fish grow to around 5 to 6 cm.
