These popular little fish are seen at their best when in spawning condition. The males almost shine in their coppery colour, hence their other common name, 'Copper Tetra'. These fish enjoy soft acidic water. They feel safest within the strength of a shoal. They look best against a backdrop of plants and like to swim freely around the centre of the tank! These are worthy additions to any community aquarium.
