| HABITS |
|
As with all Anciustrus, these fish are very shy and come out mainly when you are asleep. However, with a good feeding regime and a lot of patience, they do tame. Please check the sera food below for the best foods available. These fish are easy to keep and are friendly towards other fish. All in all, they are a nice fish to keep. They earn their keep by cleaning up your aquarium while you rest, eating many types of algae. Their bright, white spots give them the adopted name of 'Starlight' plec. The adult Starlights are suitable for all aquariums; whereas the very young only do well in planted tanks.
