| HABITS |
|
Like many of the cichlid species, the males defend their territory. However, socialisation with Lake Malawi cichlids is not a problem in large aquariums if there is sufficient space available for refuge and for building territories. The aquarium should be equipped with a rocky back wall or have stony constructions providing a lot of caves as hiding places.
