THE FISH
Albino Ruby Shark
Epalzeorhynchos frenatus
| HABITS |
|
These fish are a colour variant of the Ruby Shark and thus have the same attributes. They are primarily territorial fish and are best kept as a single fish in the aquarium. You can keep a group, but should never keep just two, as one will almost certainly, in the end, dominate the other to death. They tend to hold a particular part of the tank as their home and will guard it by driving other fish away. Many fishkeepers end up trading these fish in as they get larger and more belligerent. This is sad since they are impressive fish to keep.
