Banjo Catfish

Banjo Catfish - Photo
Bunocephalus verrucosus
HABITS These very strange looking catfish are really quite easy and interesting to keep. Their camouflage is perfect for the natural habitat, where they can be found living among fallen leaves. These are nocturnal fish that will try to burrow into the aquarium substrate, from where they will swallow any unsuspecting fish that fit into their mouth.
SIZE These fish grow around 3 inches.
