THE FISH
Blackbellied Up-side Down Catfish
Synodontis nigriventris
| HABITS |
|
These small shoaling catfish spend most of their life upside-down, having adapted this position due to their natural feeding habits. These fish mix well with all but very tiny fish; however, they do better in a group. You only get to see these little guys really well at feed times, when they come out and go completely nuts, then rush back until the next time.
