L. galaxias

L. galaxias - Photo
Leporacanthicus galaxias
HABITS This beautiful but 'Giant' growing sucker mouth requires you to have a large tank to house a fully grown adult. It is an extremely striking fish when sitting on wood, so be sure to wood your tank out nicely. Given time, it will tame well on tablet food. Coming from the wilds of the Amazon regions of Latin America, it is a relatively undemanding fish to keep. You just need to replicate its natural needs for water quality. By using 'Aquatest' to help control the water quality, you are sure to reap a very worthwhile reward.
SIZE These fish grow to between 30 to 40 cm.
