THE FISH
Longfin Barb
Barbus arulius
| HABITS |
|
This easy to keep fish enjoys being in a group. It is fast swimming and takes the middle ‘ground’. It will be the first one there for the food. It will also take out your soft plants, so be sure to check the ‘Plant’ section for plants that fish do not eat, since it looks good against a background of foliage. It mixes well with fish of its own size but do not be tempted to put it in with small neons, as the neons will disappear.
