Megalancistrus (L234)

Megalancistrus (L234) - Photo
Megalancistrus cf. Parananus
HABITS You most definitely need an extra extra large aquarium for this guy. A real ‘fish’ that displays great colour and fantastic markings, as well as having a cute eyes, he certainly lets you know that he is aware that you are there for him!! Although he grows very large, you should still provide him with some cover, where he can chill out in the shade. Really chunky bits of wood and rock make excellent choices for cover. Even though he grows so large, in reality, this fish is a gentle giant that mixes well with most fish.
SIZE These fish grow to around 40 to 60 cm.
