HABITS This fish has a friendly nature and fine colouring, making it a favourite among the Central American Cichlids. It should be kept with other similar fish of a similar size. Once it matures, this fish gives really superb colour as long as you supply it with good water and good food. Please use 'Aquatest' for optimum water quality and check out the sera foods listed below for quality fish food.
SIZE The males grow to around 10 inches while the females only grow to around 8 inches.

SEXING The more colourful male has longer and more pointed anal and dorsal fins.
