THE FISH
Ruby Shark
Epalzeorhynchos frenatus
| HABITS |
|
Being territorial, these fish are best kept as a single fish in the aquarium. You can keep a group of them, but never just two, as one will most certainly dominate the other to death. They tend to hold a particular part of the tank as their home and guard it by driving other fish away. Many fishkeepers end up trading these fish in as they get larger and more belligerent. This is unfortunate since they are impressive fish to keep.
