HABITS This is a very easy Cichlid to keep. It stays relatively small in size and remains peaceful to its own kind, as well as to members of other species. Being as it can be a shy fish, it will need some cover, but usually gains confidence over time.

SEXING There is not very much difference between sexes, other than the female being slightly smaller in size.
BREEDING As Ciclids go, the young are easy to feed and the fry develop best when fed live brine shrimp. The Cichlids make very good parents.
