Hypancistrus zebra
HABITS This is one of the most strikingly marked fish of its type. This fish is secretive and shy but becomes tame with good care, good food and patience. It tends to be territorial amongst others of its kind, but is peaceful towards other fish, mixing well with a variety of these fish. It needs good water quality, otherwise it reacts badly very quickly. So use caution and do those water changes regularly so that you can enjoy this little gem for a long time. Using 'Aquatest' can help make this chore a little easier.
SIZE They can grow to 5 inches
